Steindls Boutique Hotel
The Hotel Steindl is a design hotel in South Tyrol near Sterzing with a seriously cool concept — think urban style meets green oasis, captured in three words: Garden – Treehouse – Cloud.
On the ground floor, rooms open directly onto the garden; on the first floor, you’re up in the treehouse; and at the top, you float light as a cloud. Individual works of art are scattered throughout the hotel, too.

Garni Hotel Forsterhof
The Garni Forsterhof is one of the few South Tyrol boutique hotels that genuinely welcomes families with children. It’s located near Merano in the Val Venosta and has just 25 rooms, which gives it a warm, personal, and family-friendly feel.

For an extraordinary place to stay near the Dolomites, we really love the boutique hotel Alpin Villa Gabriela. The location near Castelrotto below the Seiser Alm is simply fantastic.
It’s a small, family-run property with a very individual design in a beautiful boutique style. Dinner at the hotel’s own restaurant is delicious, and the hosts go out of their way to make you feel at home.
Speaking of feeling at home: there’s a wellness area with sauna and Turkish bath, plus a range of massages available on top of that.
