London Eye Tickets

Getting tickets for the London Eye is not complicated. There are only two main options:
- London Eye Standard Ticket
- London Eye Fast Track Ticket
And you can buy them either through the official website or via the third-party providers GetYourGuide and Tiqets. Often for the same day.
On site, the queue is usually very long, so you would waste a lot of time buying tickets there. So it’s really best to get them online.

Our London Eye ticket recommendation
We think the London Eye Fast Track ticket is the best option. It’s a bit more expensive than the standard ticket, but skipping the long normal queue is a big advantage.
This saves you a lot of time during busy hours, which you can spend on other London attractions. With our fast-track ticket, we were able to get straight onto a gondola and start the ride right away.
You can buy the Fast Track ticket from Tiqets or the official website. The prices are the same. We personally prefer booking via Tiqets because the checkout is easy and clear.

Tower of London Tickets

The Tower of London is another very popular attraction in London and the queues can be long. Online tickets are therefore the best option here too and are usually available at short notice.
Tickets are sold on the official Tower of London website or via the third-party providers GetYourGuide and Tiqets.
All tickets are standard tickets. The only difference is the visitor category – adults, seniors or people with disabilities. This affects the price.

Why are Tower of London tickets so expensive?
Tower of London tickets are among the most expensive London attractions tickets. This is not only due to the historical importance and the unique experience, but also the high maintenance costs. The Tower needs constant conservation work to protect the structure and its valuable artifacts. That doesn’t come cheap.
Our Tower of London ticket recommendation
If you want to visit the Tower of London, we recommend buying your standard entry ticket either through the official store or via Tiqets.
Book your Tower of London ticket in the official store

Both ticket types have the same price, are time-limited and give you full access to all public areas of the Tower.
As no guided tour is included, you can either rent an audio guide on site for a fee or download one of the free guide apps to your phone. We like using apps to save money without missing out on information.
And you’ll still see the famous Beefeaters walking around the grounds.

Of course, you don’t need a ticket to cross Tower Bridge or admire it from outside. But you can enter the towers and walk across the glass walkway 42 meters above the Thames.

We recommend the standard Tower Bridge ticket. It’s a great-value ticket for one of the most iconic attractions in London.

Additional tip from the author: The Tower Bridge website offers Relaxed Opening tickets for visitors with neurodiverse needs (e.g. autism or ADHD). During these sessions, visitor numbers are limited and loud or intense audiovisual elements are reduced. If you are on the spectrum (like me), this type of ticket can make the experience much more comfortable.

Our Harry Potter Studios London ticket recommendation
We usually recommend choosing tickets with transfer for the Harry Potter Studios. You’ll find the best-value options at GetYourGuide.
The combined ticket includes the bus ride from London (Victoria Coach Station) to the studios, admission, and the return journey back to London (Victoria Coach Station).
With this option, you can easily fit the Harry Potter Studios into your London trip. That’s exactly what we did.

Additional tip from the author: The studios also offer special visiting times for neurodivergent people (e.g. autism or ADHD). These sessions have fewer visitors and reduced light and noise. If you’re on the spectrum (like me), this can make the experience much more comfortable.
London Musical Tickets

Tickets for musicals in London are best booked online ahead of time. Popular shows like The Lion King or Wicked are often sold out quickly.
Check both the official websites of the musicals and third-party providers such as GetYourGuide and Tiqets. The different platforms sometimes have different ticket quotas.
Another great option is London Theatre Direct, one of the largest portals for musical tickets in the city.
If you’re feeling spontaneous, you can try your luck with last-minute tickets at the ticket booths on Leicester Square. Some shows also offer day seats or lottery tickets early in the morning — but you have to be lucky.

Arsenal London Tickets

Arsenal is one of the most popular soccer clubs in London.
Tickets for an Arsenal London match are a great way to soak up the atmosphere at Emirates Stadium. There are both regular tickets and VIP packages with exclusive extras.
You can buy your tickets via the official Arsenal website or through third-party providers such as SportsEvents365.
Ticket prices for Arsenal home games vary depending on the opponent, seat category and competition. For the 2025/2026 season, the cheapest Premier League price starts at 31.50 pounds. For top matches, prices can easily exceed 100 pounds.
Important: Demand is very high for big fixtures. It’s best to book your ticket online early, as the stadium box office often has no availability.
Our tip: If Arsenal London tickets are a bit too expensive, you can book a guided tour of Emirates Stadium instead. A great experience for soccer fans.
More Tickets for London Attractions
Do you already have tickets for the most popular sights in London? If not, here are two more great highlights — especially if you’re in London with children. And here, too, it’s worth booking your London attractions tickets online.
Madame Tussauds London tickets

At Madame Tussauds in London, you’ll meet superheroes, musicians and film icons up close. There’s even a fun indoor ride in rotating black cabs that takes you through London’s history.
Because the museum is so popular, there are long queues every day. So it’s best to buy your Madame Tussauds London tickets online in advance.
You can do this via the official Madame Tussauds website or via GetYourGuide and Tiqets — usually saving around 10 pounds.
All providers also offer combined tickets, for example Madame Tussauds plus the London Eye.

Our Madame Tussauds London ticket recommendation
Which Madame Tussauds London ticket suits you best depends on what else you want to explore and whether you’re travelling with kids.
If you’re travelling without children and are not interested in London Dungeon or Sea Life, the standard ticket is perfect. GetYourGuide usually has the cheapest price.
If you’re in London with children or want to combine several experiences, the combo tickets are ideal. Our favorite is the Madame Tussauds + London Eye + London Dungeon combination.

Natural History Museum London Tickets

At the Natural History Museum in London, you can dive into the fascinating world of nature. Entry is free, but you still need a timeslot, booked online.
It’s best to choose your timeslot a few days in advance.
Natural History Museum London (South Kensington) Timeslot booking
We once assumed we could book a last-minute slot an hour before visiting — no chance. Everything was fully booked and the queue outside was huge.
Instead, we walked a few minutes to the free Victoria & Albert Museum — also a great museum in London.
Sky Garden London tickets

The Sky Garden in London offers fantastic views over the city. Surrounded by plants and open space, you can relax, enjoy the skyline and sip a drink at the bar.
Just like at the Natural History Museum, you don’t need traditional London tickets here — only a pre-booked timeslot.
And again, we recommend booking a few days in advance to make sure you get a spot.

London Citypass or One-Way Tickets?
A London Citypass gives you entry to several major sights without having to buy separate London attractions tickets for each place.
That sounds convenient — and it can save you money. But whether it’s really worth it depends on how many attractions you plan to visit in a short time.
For example:
The London Pass costs from 140 pounds for three days and includes the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Westminster Abbey and a Thames cruise.
If you buy individual London tickets for the same highlights, you often end up paying less overall — especially if you don’t pack several big sights into every single day. And some top attractions, like the London Eye, aren’t part of the pass.
Our tip: Take a moment to calculate whether a Citypass really pays off for your trip or if you’ll spend less with one-way tickets.
FAQ About London Tickets
Which sights in London do you need to book for?
For the top attractions in London, we generally recommend booking tickets online in advance.
For the Natural History Museum and the Sky Garden London, you need a pre-booked timeslot despite free admission.
For smaller attractions and museums, such as the Charles Dickens Museum in Camden or the Jack the Ripper Museum in the East End, you can buy tickets on site.
What happens if you don't respect the selected time on your London ticket?
For many London tickets, you also have to choose a time slot for your visit when booking.
If your ticket has a fixed time slot, make sure you arrive at the attraction on time.
Otherwise you risk being turned away at the entrance – without a refund. That would be really annoying.
Where can you get discounted tickets for attractions in London?
Discounted tickets for London attractions are mainly available for children, senior citizens and people with disabilities and/or disability cards.
You can find information about this on the websites of the attractions.
Otherwise, it is really difficult to get London tickets at a discount. The only way to get the best price is to compare prices.
Do you need a pass for the attractions in London?
Many tickets for attractions in London are personal, which means that your name is on the ticket.
We have never had this checked personally, but it is still advisable to have your ID with you.
For discounted tickets, it is essential to show the relevant ID.
Why are London tickets from third-party providers sometimes more expensive?
London tickets from third-party providers are sometimes more expensive because these providers charge additional fees for the service, such as booking fees or ticket shipping.
Also, the convenience of buying tickets from third party providers – often with flexible cancellation policies or additional offers – can increase the price.
However, combined tickets from third-party providers, for example, are cheaper than individual tickets. It is therefore worth comparing prices.
