The standout feature is the location right on the beach. Many rooms have ocean views and you can wake up to the sound of the waves. It’s also one of our 11 best beachfront hotels on Fuerteventura.
You’ll also love the very personal atmosphere. Hosts Maria and Ingrid are incredibly warm and whip up a delicious breakfast for you every morning.

More centrally located in our favorite town of Corralejo is the Avanti Lifestyle Hotel. Here you’re not only right on the lovely town beach, but also surrounded by great restaurants.
You’ll be staying in a landmark-listed building with a long history. Back when it was still called Hotel Corralejo, it was in the 1960s one of the first hotels in what was then still a small fishing village.
Today it’s a true boutique gem in Corralejo. The 14 rooms feature an elegant white-and-turquoise color scheme, the sheets are made of Egyptian cotton, and you get a pillow à la carte menu.
The Avanti is also one of the most beautiful adults-only hotels on Fuerteventura. The rooftop terrace with a hot tub is a seriously great place to unwind — ideal for couples looking for a romantic escape.
El Hotelito del Cotillo
Probably the most affordable boutique hotel on Fuerteventura is El Hotelito del Cotillo. And with just four rooms, it’s also one of the most charming small hotels on the island.
It’s housed in a traditional Majorero building (typical of Fuerteventura) from the 1920s. In 2019, it was lovingly renovated by owners Monica and Roberto.
The style and decor are inspired by the riads of Marrakech. Warm wall colors, mosaic floors, decorative details, and two inner courtyards — we absolutely love it!
El Hotelito sits in the heart of El Cotillo, just a stone’s throw from Playa La Escalera — our personal under-the-radar pick for Fuerteventura and, for us, one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Shambhala Fuerteventura
A special small hotel on Fuerteventura with probably the best value for money is Shambhala Fuerteventura.
Here you get a full apartment with a large open-plan kitchen and living area — decorated in a modern boho style with natural materials and neutral colors.
You can relax by the beautiful pool or join a free yoga class. The co-working space at Shambhala is also a popular spot for digital nomads.
The hotel places great emphasis on sustainability, uses eco-friendly materials, keeps plastic to a minimum, and sources local produce.

The interior of the island isn’t the best base on Fuerteventura. On the eastern coast, right by the sea, a small tourist hub has developed, though: Caleta de Fuste.
You’ll mostly find large resort complexes here, but we’ve also discovered one very special boutique accommodation on Fuerteventura.
Inland, you can still find the occasional stylish finca hotel — perfect for a quiet wellness retreat, less so for sightseeing. But there’s one we really want to highlight.
Elba Palace Golf Boutique Hotel
An exclusive adults-only boutique hotel on Fuerteventura is the Elba Palace Golf Boutique Hotel. A great choice if you’re after peace, luxury, and a stylish setting.
The standout is the direct location on a large 18-hole golf course. The course works well for both experienced golfers and beginners, and hotel guests can book special golf packages.
The hotel itself has an elegant Canarian colonial style — high ceilings, wooden accents, an open courtyard, and a pool area lined with palm trees.
With around 60 rooms, it still manages an intimate feel. The center of Caleta de Fuste is about a 25-minute walk away.

The Alma Calma Hotel Rural is our top pick if you’re after an exclusive wellness getaway. This small boutique hotel sits inland and is a genuinely perfect peaceful retreat.
The style is really something special: this design hotel on Fuerteventura is housed in a historic building renovated using natural materials such as lime and reclaimed wood.
The four rooms are individually furnished and feature a minimalist, modern design. All have a lovely terrace, and some even come with a private sauna.

The south of Fuerteventura is especially popular with package tourists — with plenty of large hotel chains. There are only a handful of boutique hotels on Fuerteventura down here.
That said, the south does offer great activities on Fuerteventura, and most boat tours depart from here too.

Saladar Suites Boutique
Our favorite boutique hotel in Fuerteventura’s south is the Saladar Suites Boutique. A small property with 17 apartments and a genuinely personal level of service.
Hospitality is a real priority here. Special requests for rooms or activities are happily accommodated, check-in times can be adjusted, and there’s a direct line via WhatsApp.
The apartments have a minimalist and elegant design. The highlight, though, is the rooftop bar with breathtaking views — it might just be the coolest rooftop spot in the south.
This boutique hotel is ideal for couples or small groups who appreciate the perks of an adults-only stay. The Jandia location is also the perfect base for exploring the Jandia Natural Park.
Apartamentos Boutique Lodging by LIVVO
The Apartamentos Boutique Lodging also combines the privacy of an apartment with the comfort and service of a small boutique hotel on Fuerteventura.
What sets it apart is that it’s also a great option if you’re visiting Fuerteventura with kids but don’t want to sacrifice the boutique experience. There are family apartments and a lovely pool.
