Ferienwohnungen Koflerhof
The Koflerhof is a fantastic farm stay in South Tyrol and an ideal destination for families with kids. It seriously has everything you need to keep the little ones happy.
Animals, an outdoor area with a pool, ping-pong table, playground, and trampoline, plus free bikes to borrow — and so much more.
All vacation apartments come with a kitchen, an outdoor dining area, and super comfortable beds. Breakfast can be added on as an optional extra.
The location is also really something. The Koflerhof sits near Castelrotto at the foot of the Seiser Alm — one of the most beautiful sights in South Tyrol.
Familyparadies Gamplalm
The Gamplalm is — as the name suggests — a genuine paradise for families. The apartments and family suites offer plenty of space for guests of all ages.
With a large playground and a petting zoo, kids will never get bored here. But the Gamplalm works brilliantly for parents and couples too — the surrounding area is perfect for hiking in South Tyrol and cycling.
The farm sits in Vigiljoch at around 1,800 meters above sea level, near Lana. Since the best way to get there is by cable car, the owners offer a free shuttle service from the mountain station.
That alone tells you how much care goes into every guest’s experience — the atmosphere at the Gamplalm is completely personal and homey.
Oh, and there’s also a delicious breakfast and dinner available at the farm.
Sennerhof
The Sennerhof is set in a quiet location southwest of Sterzing in the off-the-beaten-path Jaufental valley. The farm is home to lots of animals, so your kids will probably want to spend the whole time right there on the property.
The hosts are incredibly warm and welcome you like family. Be sure to try their homemade goat cheese — it’s seriously delicious!
You can pick this and other products up at the farm shop and enjoy them right in your apartment kitchen.
The vacation apartments are simple but wonderfully cozy, decorated with wooden furniture — you really get that authentic farmhouse feeling here. They’re also very well-equipped.
Stillehof
The Stillehof is one of the most stylish farmhouse vacation spots in South Tyrol, in our opinion. The owners have blended classic country house elements with modern design, and the result looks really beautiful!
There are just four vacation apartments in total, all of them very spacious. And the outdoor area is great for the whole family too.
While you relax on the large terrace, your kids can run wild on the playground or play with the animals.
By car, you’re just a few minutes from Bressanone — one of the most beautiful towns in South Tyrol — and the valley station for the ski and hiking area of Brixen/Plose. So the Stillehof makes a great base for a farm stay in South Tyrol, whether in summer or in winter.
Pferdehof Ansteingut
The Pferdehof Ansteingut is located in Spondinig in the Vinschgau valley and is a wonderful choice for a vacation in South Tyrol if you love horses. There are plenty of other animals on the farm too, which the kids will absolutely love.
The value for money for a well-equipped apartment is excellent, and sometimes you can even get a room here on short notice.
The hosts are super friendly and always have little thoughtful touches ready. Breakfast can be added on as an option.
Another great perk: there’s a lovely lake with a delicious restaurant just nearby. The area is also fantastic for cycling in South Tyrol and going for walks.
Steinwandterhof
The Steinwandterhof really stands out for its location — you can actually walk from this farm to the Pragser Wildsee (Lake Braies). Yes, really!
The farm is especially great for horse lovers, as the owner is a true enthusiast herself and there are lots of horses living on the property. If you or your kids are interested, you can take riding lessons.
A delicious breakfast is included at the Steinwandterhof. For the rest of the day, you can stock up on everything you need at the farm shop.
There are both double rooms and four-bed rooms for families — the decor is traditional and rustic.
