The best time to visit Dubai is between November and April. Temperatures are genuinely pleasant — not cold by any means, but you can comfortably walk around in a t-shirt and even swim.

From May to October, Dubai is seriously hot — and we mean that literally. Temperatures regularly top 104°F, which makes spending time outdoors pretty unbearable.

If you’re just stopping over to hit a few attractions, summer is still doable. Most places are heavily air-conditioned inside.

As a woman, you can move around Dubai freely and independently without any issues. The main thing to keep in mind is clothing — nothing overly revealing. There’s no strict official dress code, but out of respect for local culture, it’s best to skip the miniskirt. Light, modest clothing works perfectly and keeps you cool in the heat too.

You can relax — there’s no formal dress code in Dubai. That said, it’s worth avoiding anything too revealing. Clothes that cover your knees and shoulders are always a safe bet and show respect for the local culture. Light fabrics are your best friend in the heat anyway.

Arabic is the official language, but you’ll get by just fine with English. Dubai is super international — it’s packed with expats and tourists, so English is spoken practically everywhere.
