The Most Beautiful Boutique Hotels in Seville

Seville is one of the most popular city-trip destinations when traveling to Andalusia. We can recommend these two boutique hotels in Seville — both are centrally located and seriously beautiful!

El Rey Moro Hotel Boutique

El Rey Moro is one of our favorites on this list when it comes to design: the historic charm of the 16th-century building meets one-of-a-kind modern furnishings and plenty of greenery — super cool!

The Santa Cruz neighborhood is packed with great restaurants and bars. You’re also just a five-minute walk from some of Seville’s most important attractions, like the Cathedral and the Alcazar.

After a long day, a warm jacuzzi awaits you on the terrace. There are even suites with a private jacuzzi.

By the way, Rey Moro is an Adults Only hotel (ages 13 and up) — a great retreat for two or even for solo travelers.

Hotel Amadeus Sevilla

This family-run 4-star hotel is located right in the heart of Seville’s historic center.

The charming boutique hotel sits on a quiet side street, yet is only 100 meters from Seville’s most popular highlights.

The interior is a cool mix of modern design hotel and the historic character of the brick-façade building.

The décor features classic instruments throughout: old violins hang on the walls, and sometimes someone is tinkling away on the piano.

For us, the standout feature of this boutique hotel is the rooftop terrace. Here you’ll find an outdoor pool, a jacuzzi, and a lovely chill-out area with views over Seville’s old quarter.

Boutique Hotels in Málaga

Málaga is often the starting point of an Andalusia road trip. The city offers fantastic things to see and some of the most beautiful beaches in Andalusia. Here are the three best boutique hotels in Andalusia’s Málaga — in the old town and right by the sea.

Hotel Boutique Teatro Romano

The Boutique Hotel Teatro Romano is a small but excellent design hotel in the heart of Málaga’s old town. The décor is modern and minimalist — a really cool style!

The location is ideal for sightseeing in Málaga: you’re just over 100 meters from some of the finest attractions in Málaga, such as the Picasso Museum and the Roman amphitheater.

From some rooms, you can even see the Alcazaba fortress — and that’s not the only reason it ranks among the best places to stay in Málaga.

Málaga’s city beach, Playa la Malagueta, is also reachable in just ten minutes on foot.

Hotel La Chancla

Hotel La Chancla in Málaga

Hotel La Chancla is one of the very few hotels right on the water along the Costa del Sol. The beautiful sandy beach Playa de Pedregalejo is right outside your room.

The calm, shallow water and the location a bit away from Málaga’s city center also make it perfect for a beach day with kids.

The rooms are decorated in a nautical style, and most offer ocean views. A design detail we especially love: street maps of Málaga run across the walls throughout the entire hotel.

During the day, you can relax in one of the cabanas on the beach or in the rooftop terrace whirlpool.

The Best Boutique Hotels in Granada

Granada is home to what is probably Andalusia’s most famous attraction: the Alhambra. And what could be better than waking up with a view of this magnificent fortress?

Hotel Casa Morisca

Hotel Casa Morisca is one of our favorite places to stay in Granada. It sits directly below Granada’s top attraction, the Alhambra. From most rooms, you’ll enjoy a stunning view of the fortress and the beautiful Generalife Gardens.

The Alhambra’s charm seems to have rubbed off as well: Casa Morisca is housed in a historic 15th-century building and decorated in the traditional Mudéjar style, with plenty of solid wood and Arabic mosaics.

You’re right in the popular Albaicín neighborhood, which is even a UNESCO World Heritage Site — with great bars and restaurants all around.

If you’re arriving by car, you can use the hotel’s free parking lot. Reserve your spot early, though.

What immediately caught our eye about U-Sense Granada Centro are the incredibly bright and welcoming rooms — wake up to sunlight and start your day in Granada full of energy.

It’s also truly the perfect base for sightseeing in Granada: the Granada Cathedral, the popular Albaicín neighborhood, and the Mirador de San Nicolás are all just a few hundred meters away.

In the evening, unwind with a glass of wine on the rooftop terrace. From here, you’ll enjoy a stunning view of the Alhambra and Granada’s historic district with the Sierra Nevada in the background.

Great Boutique Hotels in Cádiz

The old town of Cádiz sits right by the sea, so you’re always just a few minutes’ walk from the beach.

Only the larger hotels are located right on the beach, such as the 4-star Parador de Cádiz. It’s not a boutique hotel, but it’s still a wonderful option.

We recommend the following boutique hotels in Cádiz:

Hotel Casa de los Cuatro Torres

Boutique Hotel Casa de las Cuatro Cádiz
We especially love the colors and designs of the Boutique Hotel Casa de las Cuatro (© Hotel Casa de las Cuatro)

Right in the heart of Cádiz’s old town, you’ll find the beautiful Boutique Hotel Casa de los Cuatro Torres. Plaza de España is just around the corner, the Cathedral of Cádiz is a ten-minute walk away, and Playa de la Caleta is only 15 minutes on foot.

We particularly love the historic 18th-century building. The name is no coincidence: the four corners of the building are adorned with four charming watchtowers.

Some rooms feature a balcony with a great view over Cádiz’s city center.

You can also rent bikes at the hotel for exploring the city — super convenient!

The hotel also has a large wellness area with thermal pools, and you can book various massages, scrubs, and beauty treatments — pure relaxation!

You can reach Cádiz’s old town in ten minutes by car. There’s a parking garage across from the hotel where guests receive a discount.

The Best Boutique Hotels in Córdoba

With its flower-filled patios and narrow alleyways, Córdoba welcomes you with a beautiful Mediterranean atmosphere. The best way to soak it all up is by staying at one of the unique boutique hotels in Andalusia’s Córdoba.

Here are our two top picks for great design hotels in the city.

Hotel Boutique Patio del Posadero

Patio del Posadero is a beautifully stylishly furnished boutique hotel. We especially love the green courtyard and the stone walls in the rooms.

The two hosts, Lisa and Jose, welcome you personally at this little oasis of calm.

The food here is seriously good too: from tomato focaccia to chocolate mint brownies, everything is homemade with fresh, regional ingredients. Yum!

On the rooftop terrace, there’s a pool to cool off on hot days — and from up there, you’ll enjoy a wonderful vista over Córdoba’s old town.

Hotel Balcón de Córdoba is a small boutique hotel with just ten rooms in soft beige tones. Although you’re in the center of Córdoba’s historic district, you’ll find a peaceful retreat away from the tourist crowds here.

The hotel is almost an attraction in its own right: over 100 archaeological artifacts are displayed throughout the building — history you can truly feel.

We especially love the three courtyards, each designed in a completely different style. There’s also a rooftop terrace from which you can see Córdoba’s top attraction, the Mezquita Catedral.
