The rooms are simple and decorated in light, breezy colors, and the property has a lovely pool. An American breakfast and a free bicycle rental are both included in the price — a nice bonus.
The surrounding area has a solid selection of restaurants and cafés, and you’re just a short distance from Phuket’s charming old town.
Layalina Hotel
The Layalina Hotel sits right on the popular Kamala Beach. It’s one of the more affordable beachfront hotels in Phuket — and honestly, for the price, it’s really lovely.
The rooms are tastefully decorated and even come with a whirlpool. But with the ocean and a pool right in front of you, you’ll have a hard time choosing where to take the plunge first!

The value for money at My Beach Resort Phuket is seriously impressive. For a comparatively low price, you get a beachfront stay with either a pool or ocean view from your room.
The pool itself is wonderfully large, and there’s even a pool bar with happy hour. The resort also has a great restaurant and a café serving tasty snacks throughout the day.
The staff deserve a special mention — they go above and beyond to make sure your stay is great. From the front desk to the bartender, the service is simply top-notch.
And one really cool extra: you can borrow kayaks for free and paddle out onto the ocean. We love that.
Phuket Marriott Merlin Beach
The Phuket Marriott Resort has a truly fantastic location. It sits on the quiet Merlin Beach, just a few kilometers from the lively beach town of Patong — home to Bangla Road, one of Phuket’s most well-known attractions.
Head in the other direction and you’ll reach the breathtakingly beautiful Freedom Beach. But the resort doesn’t just deliver on location — the breakfast buffet, the expansive pool area, and the restaurant are all excellent too.
The beds are seriously comfortable, and whether you need a double room for two or something bigger for the whole family, you’ll find the right fit here.

The Shore is not only one of the most celebrated beachfront properties in Phuket — it’s also set on an absolutely dreamy stretch of sand: Kata Noi Beach.
This is without a doubt a world-class hotel. The views from the rooms and pool are incredible, the food is outstanding, and the service is the kind that’s hard to find anywhere. It really doesn’t get much better than this.
We’d especially recommend it to couples who want to truly treat themselves — the villas offer a level of privacy and seclusion that’s rare even by Phuket standards.
Also really cool are the various classes and workshops on offer, from yoga to fruit picking, plus a seriously impressive wellness area.
