In a nutshell

  • Most beach hotels in Cyprus are large resorts with all-inclusive options and direct sea access — some family-friendly, others adults-only.
  • We ranked our picks by average nightly price and overall value for money — from budget-friendly to full luxury.
  • Beachfront hotels in Cyprus are generally pricier than inland accommodation, but often worth every penny.
  • Our two favorites among the best beach hotels in Cyprus are the Atlantica Golden Beach Hotel and the Blue Harbour Boutique.
Paphos

Atlantica Golden Beach Hotel

The Atlantica Golden Beach Hotel sits right on the beach in Paphos and is our personal favorite among all-inclusive beachfront hotels in Cyprus — seriously great value for money.
We spent a week here ourselves and loved every minute of it. The hotel is clean, wonderfully peaceful, and the staff are consistently friendly and attentive from breakfast through the evening service.
The adults-only concept makes for a really relaxed atmosphere. And the location is perfect for visiting some of the most important sights in Cyprus — like the Tombs of the Kings in Paphos. The hotel beach is also a fantastic spot for snorkeling.
The rooms are modern and bright, with views of the sea or the well-kept garden. Dining options leave nothing to be desired either — there’s an international breakfast buffet, varied evening buffets, two additional hotel restaurants, and a pool bar for a quick snack in between.
We’re convinced: anyone looking for a relaxed Cyprus beach hotel will be in great hands at the Atlantica Golden Beach. We’d come back anytime.
Important: There are cats living on the hotel grounds. They’re super friendly, very well cared for, and were honestly a highlight for us. That said, if you have a cat hair allergy, you’ll want to know this in advance.

Thalassines Villas

The Thalassines Villas are a genuine under-the-radar find on the east coast near Ayia Napa — if you’re after a special place to stay in Cyprus close to the water, this is it.
Instead of a traditional hotel setup, you get private villas right on the waterfront — each with its own pool and garden. It’s the perfect blend of privacy and luxury, just steps from a small private beach.
Despite the peaceful seclusion, you’re never far from the highlights and the most beautiful beaches in Cyprus — including Nissi Beach.
There are no classic hotel amenities like breakfast or a restaurant, but you’ll be well taken care of: nearby you’ll find supermarkets, bakeries, and tavernas — ideal for self-catering or anyone who prefers to stay flexible.

Larnaka

Golden Bay Beach Hotel

The Golden Bay Beach Hotel sits right on the sandy beach in Larnaka and is a great pick if you want a classic 5-star beach hotel in Cyprus — plenty on offer without going overboard on luxury.

Rooms are modern, many with sea views and a balcony. There’s a large pool complex, a spa with sauna, indoor pool, fitness room, tennis court, and — perhaps most importantly — a hotel beach with sun loungers.

Mornings bring a breakfast buffet, and throughout the day and evening there are several restaurants and bars to choose from. The location is quiet but well-connected — a solid base for day trips and activities in Cyprus.

Big plus: Larnaka Airport is only about 20 minutes away. That saves time on arrival and departure and makes the hotel especially convenient for shorter stays.
