We especially love the bright rooms, which are incredibly cozy without any unnecessary fuss. A total must for design lovers!
When the weather’s nice, you can take a dip in the rooftop pool. From up there, you’ll have a seriously fantastic panorama over Berlin.
By the way: The hotel used to be a women’s prison. Don’t worry — you won’t be sleeping behind bars. But some traces of that history are still visible throughout the hotel.

When you walk into the Wil7 Boutique Hotel, a burst of color hits you right away. The lobby design is especially bold and eye-catching.
The rooms are all beautifully and stylishly furnished too. Combined with the soaring old-building ceilings, the Wil7 totally won us over.
The hotel sits near Kreuzberg — one of our absolute favorite neighborhoods in Berlin. You’re also close to loads of other Berlin highlights. The Jewish Museum, for example, is just a five-minute walk away.
A real standout is the delicious breakfast, which is brought right to your table.
The Dean Hotel
The Dean is our budget pick! Perfect for travelers who want to stay somewhere special without breaking the bank.
The rooms at The Dean are on the smaller side, but more than enough for a city trip to Berlin. After all, you’ll be out exploring most of the time anyway.
By the way: In the same building you’ll find the breakfast café Benedict. Super handy, because it’s one of the best spots in Berlin for a really great breakfast — and it’s served all day long. There are also more great cafés just steps from the hotel.

The Garden Living has a wonderfully personal, home-like feel. It’s owner-operated, and one of the hotel’s cats might even wander over to say hello during breakfast in the courtyard.
The hotel is just a 12-minute walk from Berlin Central Station, which makes it a great pick if you’re visiting Berlin for the first time. From there, you can reach all the major attractions quickly and easily.
