Simone Bauer, born in 1990, is an author, journalist, and originally from Regensburg. 'Hinterm Großstadtdschungel links' (Butze) is her seventh novel about the life of a single lesbian in the Upper Palatinate countryside. Her young adult book 'Alkoholfrei' (Schwarzkopf & Schwarzkopf) is set in Regensburg's old town. For print, online, TV, and radio, Simone also writes about Japanese pop culture, feminism, and queer topics — for publications like Koneko, MISSY, and Busenfreundin. She also loves trying out small yoga studios around the world.
