Simone Bauer

Simone Bauer, born in 1990, is an author and journalist originally from Germany. Hinterm Großstadtdschungel links (Butze) is her seventh novel about the life of a single lesbian in rural Upper Palatinate. Her young adult book Alkoholfrei (Schwarzkopf & Schwarzkopf) is set in Regensburg's historic old town. Simone also writes about Japanese pop culture, feminism, and queer topics for print, online, TV, and radio, contributing to publications such as Koneko, MISSY, and Busenfreundin. Additionally, she enjoys exploring small yoga studios all over the world.
