For even more privacy in El Cotillo, the El Hotelito del Cotillo — with just four rooms — is hard to beat. It’s one of our personal favorites among all the adults only hotels on Fuerteventura.
The hotel is a traditional Majorero house (typical of Fuerteventura) from the 1920s. After its renovation, it strongly reminds us of the riads in Marrakech.

Avanti Lifestyle Hotel
Corralejo is our favorite spot on Fuerteventura. And that’s where you’ll find the Avanti Lifestyle Hotel — a truly special adults only property on Fuerteventura.
Back when it was still called Hotel Corralejo, it was one of the first hotels in what was then a small fishing village in the 1960s — and today it’s even a listed landmark.
The 14 rooms are elegantly designed in white and turquoise, with Egyptian cotton bedding. There’s even a customizable pillow menu. For us, it’s one of the most beautiful boutique hotels on Fuerteventura.
The hotel sits right on the beachfront promenade, surrounded by a gorgeous town beach and the best restaurants. And when you want to unwind, the hot tub on the rooftop terrace is waiting.
Hotel Boutique La Marquesina
Just a few steps away — also right on the beachfront promenade — is the Hotel Boutique La Marquesina. It’s also one of the most popular places to stay in Corralejo.
The rooftop terrace with a heated saltwater pool and solarium is our absolute highlight. From up here you also get a stunning view of the islands of Lobos and Lanzarote.
The room design is modern and minimalist, with a nautical touch. We’d recommend booking a room with an ocean view so you can watch all the action on the promenade.
You can also enjoy a laid-back day at the Barracuda Bar, which is part of the hotel — whether over a great cup of coffee or a refreshing sangria.

In the east, however, there’s one solid, classic resort town that has grown over the years: Caleta de Fuste. The big advantage? It’s only ten minutes from the airport.

Hotel Ereza Mar

The hotel sits right on Playa Esmeralda — a genuine local favorite among Fuerteventura’s beaches. It never gets too crowded here, which is a huge plus.
We especially love the rooms. They’re bright, welcoming, and have that cool beach chic we adore on a beach vacation!
There are multiple pools, a sauna, and a solid selection of massages and beauty treatments. If you want to head out in the evening, the center of Costa Calma is just a five-minute walk away.
Royal Palm Resort & Spa
In the mood for a sprawling, more luxurious resort with direct access to a beautiful sandy beach? Then take a look at the Royal Palm Resort & Spa.
The rooms are incredibly spacious and feature a clean, modern, and bright design. An ocean view costs only a little more and is absolutely worth it here.
Another highlight is the approximately 2,000-square-meter spa area, featuring multiple pools, four saunas, a Himalayan salt grotto, and a private lounge — perfect for a romantic getaway for two.
The hotel sits a short distance outside of Jandia and is also a great base for exploring the stunning Jandia Natural Park.
INNSIDE by Meliá Fuerteventura
The Innside by Melia is definitely one of our favorite hotels in the south of Fuerteventura. Here you can truly recharge with yoga and Pilates classes overlooking the ocean.
The rooms are seriously beautiful, featuring a modern and hip design with a mix of lovely boho and beach vibes. An ocean view costs only a little more and is well worth it.
The outdoor area with an infinity pool and sun lawn, Balinese beds, and hammocks is perfect for doing absolutely nothing. You can also use the hot tub, sauna, and massages for an additional fee.
The hotel’s location is somewhat secluded, but Costa Calma is only a ten-minute drive away — where some of the coolest boat tours on Fuerteventura depart.
